Toshiba 55SV670U is one of the cheapest models using Local Dimming technology which delivers deep black levels. This TV also incorporates dejudder processing with its Smooth setting. We appreciated that, like Samsung’s dejudder-equipped LCDs and unlike any others tested, Toshiba allows you to get the antiblurring effects of 240Hz without having to engage dejudder. You also get a bag full of picture tweaks. The USB reader lets you watch divx movies and you have to remember that not too many manufacturers included this feature on their LED TV’s. As far as picture quality Toshiba did very good. Video processing did very well. On the downside the Toshiba 670U employs a glossy screen that has a tendency to reflect ambient light sources more strongly than the matte screens of the Sony and LG models. No internet connections and blooming – the tendency of bright objects to spill over onto dark backgrounds.

If you’re low on budget than you don’t have to look no further. This LED TV costs less than most LCD’s with Local Dimming technology offering great black levels fot it’s price, so you will definitely get a good picture quality.
