THE GOOD

The LG LX9500 is the top of the line LED TV from LG and comes in two sizes 47 and 55 inches. It’s not only a LED TV, but 3D – built to perfection with a panel response time cut down to only 1ms, 480 Hz of true motion for a nice flow motion, Local Dimming panel for huge 10,000,000 contrast and pure blacks and it’s all packed into a 1,3″ thick LED panel. As for 3D you need a Panel twice as bright and twice as fast. You get all that plus an eye catching design.

LG LX9500 series integrated a nice additional low tone speaker for a great sound quality.

The picture quality is quite impressing ( a must have ). We were impressed on the amount of setting options. 9 settings for grey itself, black intensity, backlight and plenty plenty more. You can live view your changes without leaving the menu which is also a plus. This TV has more settings than any other LED TV in our tests. As for the backlite it has 95 % uniformity, which is one of the best results we achieved testing LED TVs.

The USB 2.0 port allowed us to play DivX, MKV or DivX HD with a spectacular results. Lots of codecs installed.

You’ll also find and ethernet port. You can also plug in a seperately sold WI-FI adapter for wireless internet. Some of the internet services available on LG LX9500 are: YOUTUBE, PICASA, ACCUWEATHER & YAHOO widgets, movie streaming services.

THE BAD

As for the best part that would be the price. It’s a mercedes among LED TVs and a damn nice one. The only other con this TV has is a poor internet. You also won’t be able to surf the webpages with this one.

CONCLUSION

Delivers stunning picture, nicer sound than competition, 480 Hz, The best backlight uniformity.
