THE GOOD Three main things we need to know about this LED TV:


1. Black levels are excellent

2. Color Accuracy is excellent

3. Costs less than Samsung 8500 series.

 
Comparing LGlh90 to Samsung 8500 those two LED TV’s did almost identical in color accuracy test and LGLH90 did better in motion performance test. LG 47LH90 has a slight better viewing angle than top LED TV’s and has more ports expecially for analog signals. It has extensive picture adjustments, matte screen handles bright lighting well, plenty of connectivity with four HDMI and one PC input. lh90 series is using local dimming technology instead of older edge-lit technology found on Samsung 8000 series. It offers Internet-Connected interactive capability.

The picture controls on the LH90 series surpass most of the competition. It is Energy Star 3.0 which reduces energy by about 50%. The LH90 series is missing picture-in-picture but does provide plenty of aspect ratio control. As for performance the LG LH90 series as one of the best performing LED TVs on the market.


THE BAD Because of cons like: some blooming, does not separate antiblur and dejudder processingt could not compete with Samsung b8500 series ( which costs around $2000 more )


CONCLUSION If you’re looking for an inexpensive model which could compete with the top dogs than this is it.

1. Poor-off angle viewing – but this is the issue on majority of lcd/plasma tv’s
