THE GOOD The B7000 Line is LED TV using Edge technology which offers deeper black levels than standard LCD TV. It uses 24fps native sources. Internet Widget option such as TV Guide or Rallycast which allows you to have access to your phone’s text messages, facebook messages, twitter messages, fantasy sports leagues etc. it does a very good job with the color accuracy and great dejudder processing. It delivers very good picture, but a few flaws prevented it from matching the best models. It is also extremely energy efficient. As for styling B7000 is really thin measuring 1.2 inches deep at its thickest point. People who own Samsung B7000 series say they love it for its picture quality and black levels.


THE BAD It produces relatively deep black levels, but impaired performance in very dark scenes probably caused by an edge-lit technology.

CONCLUSION The difference between the 7 vs 8 series is the refresh rate going down from 240Hz to 120Hz, 4ms response time instead 2ms which cause a slight effect on the picture performance and the red styling instead of blue.
When it comes to comparing Samsung B6000 and B7000 are almost identical except for a couple of thigs:

B6000 however, does not have all the internet widgets as B7000 does. It’s also missing a DLNA connections which enables a computer connection. B6000 has slightly different initial picture settings – Movie mode measured bluer in its most-accurate Warm2 color temperature setting, scoring an Average and not a Good as on the 7000. It’s not a big deal though since Samsung picture controls will allow you to achieve an excellent grayscale.

If you don’t need all the internet features then you might want to consider buying B6000 series instead of B7000
